Amazing - I only brought back one of the books you did! I was convinced everyone would come away from Midwinter with the exact same selection of books. Shadows on the Moon, The Book of Blood and Shadow, There is no Dog, and The False Prince were ones I didn't even see but think I'll put on my TBR list for when they come out.

So many great books coming out this year! I am not...

I'm REALLY eager to dive into Long Larkin, too. When the rep said it's not one to read at night ... well... that was the entire sell for me! I take it as a challenge.

Kathy, I haven't read any of them! I really have no opinion on the Newbery this year, other than none of them are ones I'd pick up on my own. I also haven't read any of the Printz titles, but again, they're not any I'd normally read.

I was glad that Blackout got a Caldecott honor.
